My Three Wishes

If I could make a wish upon a stra or upon a wishing well or upon a genie, I would have three wishes - for myself, my country and the world!

First, I wish I could be a great leader to humanity - a leader with whom they would feel their worth in nation-building at macro-level, a leader with whom they could reflecttheir ideal figure so that they will listen to my voice and walk hand-in-hand with me...nurturing the same faith and positive values deep in the heart! For who will pay attention when I am but a tiny voice in calvary?

Second, I wish my coutry could finally gain sovereignty from the clutches of other nations. How I wish colonial mentality and foreign intervention would go away and insurgency problems confronting my country would vanish instantly.  For how could economic development be achieved when the Philippines remains a slave of Uncle Sam?

Third, I wish the conflict in Middle East and other countries would be settled and human shields be freed to enjoy life fully and peacefully.  For how could they realize their dreams...how could they trek the  path to their destiny under the sun when the shadow of death is just s step from them?

Yes, I want to lead the people in glorifying the Creator - the ultimate source of love, kindness and wisdom! I want the Philippines' yearning for freedom and advancement come true! I want world peace because I hope to live happily - to stay in a beautiful and wonderful world!
