With the warm weather, it's fun and relaxing to sit in a bench outside the house and talk with each other or with neighbors, stargaze at the rooftop (as what my daughter, Thea, did) or just do nothing! Nothing, as in be lazy for an hour. At least it's for a worthy cause. For you're joining the whole world's call to make a statement about global warming - to show that you, nevertheless, care for the environment and ozone layer.
The world's key cities and big stablishments may have shown support to the Earth Hour but in our place, people, I believe, didn't care. Why? It's good if there were 2 out of 24 household that switched off lights during the moment.
Well actually, aside from our house, the only other house that turned dark in observance of the Earth Hour in our neighborhood was that of an employee from GMA-7 TV Network.

And everywhere, all lights - even unnecessary decorative lights in the subdivision were in their splendid glory as if saying "who cares about global warming?"
