Iglesia Ni Cristo Buys a Town



Acquiring through purchase a 19 Hectares (46 acres) 59 parcels of land in Scenic, the 12-acre (4.9 ha) town a surrounding area inclusive of the Post Office, Longhorn Saloon, a Dance Hall, Bunkhouse and two Stores and a Train Depot is truly conquering the area.
A church from the third-world country, Philippines now owns this property.

The Iglesia Ni Cristo, or Church of Christ made the purchase for $700,000 as can be verified at the Pennington  County records.

However, the property remains idle to date and the church remains mum on its intended use or development plans.  

The Iglesia Ni Cristo, based in Quezon CityPhilippines is currently spearheaded  by  Bro. Eduardo V. Manalo, grandson of Bro. Felix Y. Manalo,   church registrant and foremost  missionary in July 27 1914.

For over 97 years since its humble beginning, the church has already expanded to 95 countries and territories creating worldwide beautiful landmarks with its splendid edifices.
