A Wish Came True on "Wish Ko Lang"

I am inviting everybody  to watch "Wish Ko Lang" on GMA-7 this afternoon, Saturday, February 13, 2010 at 4:00 PM. Featured in a segment is the granted wish of one of the students at Governor Isidro S. Rodriguez Sr. Memorial National High School (GISRSMNHS), a school that was hit by flood and fire last year.

Rona Macaraeg,  a student of GISRSMNHS was indeed surprised when told by Wish Ko Lang host Vicky Morales that her wish will be granted two days later.

Macaraeg's wish, in behalf of the junior and senior studentry of the school, was to have a Junior-Senior Promenade.

The school principal, Mr. Alfredo Lopez earlier believed that it was not wise to hold such activity. The school is currently dealing with the aftermaths of the flood by  Typhoon Ondoy on September 26, 2010 and the fire that razed a building and school properties to ashes almost two weeks later.

GMA-7's "Wish Ko Lang" granted the wish that gave GISRSMNHS the grandest JS-Prom ever in the school's history on February 11, 2010.

As a bonus, donations of computers and books were given to the school.

GMA-7's "Wish Ko Lang" just once again succeeded in  touching  the lives and hearts of  so many grateful people - the school administration and teaching staff, the students and their respective families as well as other concerned individuals.
