For almost a year after my e-mail address was created, I still did not receive any e-mail from a friend.
Until I stumbled upon an online directory where I found two familiar names. I sent them e-mails. And for the first time, I received e-mails in my inbox.
We exchanged few e-mails that later went off. As both of them were public servants, I know they hardly had time to go online. Yet I am thankful that after many years of no communication, they still remembered me as their "ading". They will also forever remain "manongs" in my heart.
Soon, I relocated other good old friends and I also had new good friends online, who continue to send me e-mails.
These e-mails that I will always be very grateful of because they remind me that even the latest technology and computers do bring good friends....good friends from different parts of the globe.......good friends that I used to treasure in life.
BUT there is another kind of e-mails that I enjoy in my inbox - PAID COMMERCIAL E-MAILS. And I guess, it's another story.(lol)
...products, other sites, ideas, information, personal views, stories and other things that may be shared out of trust and friendship through computer keyboard!
